Special QSO Dirgahayu KOSTRAD Ke 65, memancar dari Gerbang Barat Indonesia (Aceh Besar) pada 40M/SSB, hari Jum'at, tanggal 6 Maret 2026, mulai jam 14:00 - 17:00 UTC / 21:00 - 24:00 WIB.Ulang Tahun KOSTRAD (Komando Cadangan Strategis Angkatan Darat) diperingati setiap tahun pada tanggal 6 Maret. Hari ulang tahun ini menandai diresmikannya satuan tersebut pada tanggal 6 Maret 1961, yang awalnya bernama CADUAD (Cadangan Umum Angkatan Darat).
Kostrad sendiri dibentuk berdasarkan Skep Kasad No : KPTS 178/2/1963 untuk tujuan mempertahankan Kedaulatan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.
Kostrad adalah bagian dari Komando Utama tempur yang dimiliki oleh TNI Angkatan Darat yang merupakan satuan elit TNI inisiasi dari Jenderal TNI (purn) Abdul Haris Nasution.[]

KOSTRAD (Army Strategic Reserve Command) Anniversary is commemorated every year on March 6. This anniversary marks the establishment of the unit on March 6, 1961, which was originally named CADUAD (Army General Reserve).
KOSTRAD itself was formed based on the Chief of Staff of the Army Decision No: KPTS 178/2/1963 for the purpose of defending the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
KOSTRAD is part of the Main Combat Command of the Indonesian Army and is an elite unit of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, initiated by General TNI (Ret.) Abdul Haris Nasution.[]
